New & Improved Features (build 7.78)

New highly integrated Doc Link system: You can now link documents, excel spreadsheets, pictures, just about anything you want to Customer Accounts, Customers Equipment, TAN articles, Service Contracts, Vendor Accounts, and Estimates..

This new feature is very powerful, when generating part orders to MS Word to be faxed or e-mailed the Link system automatically adds the link to the Word document that was generated. The same holds true when generating those very important Estimates.

Say you looking for an Estimate that was generated 2 years ago, you simply have to look up the customer, and in two clicks of a button; view or print any link.

This is just a small example of the power of this system. Never hunt, search, loose a system related file again.Links

Informational Update

Man-O-Man
It?s been a busy 2 weeks. I have not been able to code very much, started and finally finished a new MS Small Business Server 2003 build and setup for the Appliance Doctor here in Annapolis Maryland.

So here in the up coming weeks, I hope to finish the first stage of the electronic warranty claim system (EWCS).

Will keep you posted.

New & Improved Features (build 7.77)

Changed the search logic for the customer equipment screens to now accept the same system wide searching methods. Previously the searching system would only find exact matches and load them for use. The system now uses automatic wild card searches and shows the result list for you to choose rather then loading an exact match.

Created a customer equipment sentinel. This system watches changes to existing equipment so as to make it a bit more difficult to overwrite an existing equipment file without due notice.

Enhanced the Inventory Graveyard system. Now when opening up the window, you will be asked if you want to send the currently selected inventory item to the graveyard. This will also automate the quantity removal from the location in which you are working with.

For those who do not know, the Inventory Graveyard is where you can keep track of parts that are damaged, obsolete, or just un-usable in your operations. You can refer back to this list for tax purposes, and such.

Bug Smash
Corrected date criteria for the Inventory Movement Report. Now the correct recordset is passed for the date criteria seeking.
